The Beacon Ambassadors recently launched their 2020 Careers on Wheels event by hosting a breakfast. This event was a great success, with many business representatives coming in on Thursday 17th September to enjoy meeting the Beacon team and staff.

Kings Meadows High School catering team, led by Mr Thor Pedersen provided an amazing spread of food for hungry staff and students.  The event also enabled the business representatives to improve connections between themselves and Beacon students.

It was a very early start for teachers and students to arrive on time and set up. On arrival, guests made tea and coffee and engaged with teachers and students. The breakfast allowed business representatives to gain a better understanding of what the Careers on Wheels event is and it's importance in giving students a broad view of possible future career pathways beyond Grade 10. We look forward to welcoming them back on November 12th for the event to be held on the first My Education Day of Term 4.
