GRADE 7 REPORT:
Celebrations
Just like that, week 8 is over for Term 2. The past week saw us celebrate a number of achievements at our recent whole school assembly, followed by a thought provoking My Education Day. Our second My Education Day focussed on valuing differences. The day aimed to encourage students to reflect upon their own uniqueness and develop an appreciation for the needs of other individual's differences in both the community and workplace environments. Students engaged in reflective processes and spent time engaging in activities of their choice, connecting with students with similar interests whilst displaying their own ‘uniqueness’.
Grade Focus
Taking control of our learning. With reports being sent home Tuesday, students and families will get a brief snapshot of academic performance and work habits. Alongside this report will come the opportunity to engage with teachers across a number of Progress Conference nights. These nights allow teachers, families and students to engage in a formal process of celebrating progress and set targeted goals for the next steps of achievements. Families and students are invited to attend these sessions together, as students take control of their learning and achievement throughout their formative educational years.
