A reminder to all junior and senior netballers and parents. The NTNA and NHSSA has amended the ruling on the taping of ear piercings/jewellery for 2021.  Meaning taping is NOT allowed. ALL jewellery has to be entirely removed for a student to take the court.  Because of this it is important to consider new piercings that you already have or may consider getting. If you have jewellery that cannot be removed for a certain period of time, please let your coaches know so that you can assist with scoring and other duties until you can take the court.  For students and parents considering booking in for new piercings KMHS coaches would strongly urge you to consider waiting until the end of Term 3 when netball has concluded.  This is because we wish your piercings to be fully healed so that you can remove and replace your jewellery safely on a weekly basis. Taping is no longer considered an appropriate or safe alternative to removing jewellery.
