GRADE 10 REPORT:
Celebrations
Term 3 is going to be a very busy one for our Grade 10’s. This week we met with students and gave out the Grade 10 Agreement Letter. This Agreement Letter is to be signed by all parents or guardians and by our students. This Agreement is a contract between the school and the Grade 10 students based around behaviour expectations, academic rigour, uniform and attendance. We are hoping that our Grade 10’s will use this opportunity to complete their last two terms at KMHS in the most productive and positive way. Throughout Term 3 our students will be given the opportunity to be involved in two additional programs. 'Speak up, Stay Chatty' are pencilled in to run a program with our students in the middle of the term. This will be centred around mental health and supporting our students in this space. We have also secured another health program called ‘Love Bites’ which will be run by the school support team at our school. This will involve extra information and support around relationships and sexual health. We are really looking forward to involving our students in both programs.
This term we will be holding some extra college transition sessions for any students who either missed our college transitions days or would like some more information. These sessions will be informal sessions and will be open to anyone who seeks interest. If parents wish to gain more information about what each college offers, both colleges have websites with videos, course selection guides and information about their campuses.
