WRITE FOR KINGS:

Supported by our Literacy Leaders from Grades 9 and 10, the selected students worked in groups to choose a creative writing topic from the three provided and then worked together to plan and publish an original and imaginative response to the topic.
Using our blended learning platforms of Canvas and Microsoft Teams, students were able to actively engage in the writing process while watching the work evolve and take shape. Together they shared and suggested creative ideas, gave each other immediate feedback, discussed their progress and took turns at typing the response.
The students’ creativity was sustained by some wonderful food provided at the halfway point by Mr Pedersen and his amazing catering team so a big thank you goes out to them!
Congratulations to all the students involved in the program! It was such a pleasure to watch you all working, talking, leading and collaborating together on your learning. The program continues on Tuesday 31st August with some new topics and we can’t wait to have you back!
