Students in DAT2 Design and Technologies started this term with an acoustic amplifier project. Students had full control over the design meaning they were responsible for what their project would end up looking like. Students were required to plan, prototype, design and evaluate their project and document this in a folio. Their design had to be suitable to the size of their own phone and fit within the 1m allocation of timber whilst trying to make it unique and exciting. They then had to build their project as per their design using problem solving approaches based on the skills they have learnt so far this year. Students did a fantastic job and all the projects turned out great. Please check out some of these in the images below.
