Have you ever considered making your own mobile app? Students in Grade 8 Computing explored the steps required to making your own app. They investigated what features make a good app and how app inventors go about transforming their idea into a finished product available on the App Store. As a part of this unit, students were required to plan and prototype a KMHS App, designed to be installed on the iPads of students to help navigate around the school and assist in their day-to-day learning. Looking at the quality of these designs, we might be all using an app designed by these students in the not-too-distant future!
