Dear Parents/Guardians
Thank you to all the business, industry and people who sponsored awards for students at Kings Meadows High School Presentation Assembly 2021. Included in this week’s newsletter is a list of the award recipients. Please click on the link below to view the recording.
The Graduation Assembly was also recorded and uploaded to the school facebook page
At this time of year, schools do have staffing changes.
As many of you are aware, Mrs Maree Pinnington has won the position of External School Review Leader. We were fortunate to have Mrs Pinnington with us at the Presentation Assembly where the Prefects farewelled her.
For the last 6 years Kings Meadows High School has been privileged to have Mrs Pinnington as our Principal. Under your leadership our school has flourished into the supportive and welcoming community it is today. You have cultivated an environment full of aspiration and growth and a school built of respect and commitment to learning. In your time here you have harbored a culture inclusive of all people regardless of ability and provided so many students with an education and opportunity. Your positive influence and the quality of your work is visible as soon as you walk through our gates and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you have done for our school. Your dedication, passion and love for Kings Meadows is clear. Although we are all sad to see you go, we wish you all the best for your journey into the future.

Lastly I would like to thank the staff and students at Kings Meadows High School for their support and making me feel welcome as Principal in Term 4. I’m really pleased and excited to announce that in 2022 I will be taking up the position of Principal at Riverside High School. Cary Stocks has been appointed the Principal for Kings Meadows High School next year. Cary has been working in schools and in Learning Services for a number of years and will bring invaluable knowledge and understandings to the Kings Meadows community.
