GRADE 9 REPORT:
Celebrations
As the end of the year quickly approaches, students in Grade 9 have been given some fantastic opportunities to say farewell to 2021 in style. On our recent My Education Day, the students engaged in the ‘Healthy Me’ Expo, where local businesses and organisations who are involved in wellbeing opened stalls and explained to the students what their organisations did and fielded questions from the students. Many of the stalls had interactive displays and giveaway items and the students found it to be an extremely beneficial experience. We would like to extend a big thank you to the teachers and student leaders who helped run and plan this event.
On Friday 3 December, Kings Meadows High School ran its annual ‘Big Day Out’ for 2021. Students were treated to a range of outdoor activities and were entertained by musicians. There was also the chance for students to purchase food from the food vans in attendance. It was a lovely sunny afternoon and teachers and students alike thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Again, a thank you to the staff and school leaders who assisted on the day and made it a success.
Grade Focus
Our final behavioural goal for 2021 is all around displaying safe behaviours at school. Students who consistently display safe and supportive behaviour will be issued with certificates of appreciation from the staff. We encourage all of our students to strive to receive one of these in the last two weeks of the school year.
