GRADE 7 REPORT:
Celebrations
As the year is coming to a close, we thought it would be nice for teachers on the Grade 7 team to reflect on their favourite moments and memories from the year that was! Here are our responses.
Favourite Memory from Grade 7, 2019:
Mr Stevenson – Spending time with students at the Punchbowl Picnic and getting to know everyone.
Mr Withington – I enjoyed camp, seeing students overcoming their fears and working together on the giant swing. Also, 'Big Day Out' was lots of fun. I liked seeing how relationships have grown and matured over the year.
Mr Heger – Taking a group of Grade 7 students to the Devonport Triathlon and feeling really proud of their hard work and positive attitudes.
Miss McCarthy – Doing ‘Lollies in Space’ artwork with students and seeing their excitement when they saw them displayed in the Grade 7 block.
Miss Hart - My favourite moments from 2019 are doing gallery walks in Art and feeling so proud of all the amazing work my Grade 7s have done.
Mr Stokes – I liked the collaboration during the decoration of the classrooms – the Battle of the Classes challenge. Loved seeing the way the classes worked together.
Mr Richardson – My favourite memory was making bon bons on our My Education day! I also loved seeing our 7C students cooking pancakes for Canada as part of our Battle of the Classes challenge.
Mrs Dobson – My favourite memory from this year, and one which will certainly stick with me, is spending time with the staff and students on Grade 7 camp. I remember feeling really lucky that we would get to spend the year with such a great group of people!
